Five Years!

Today, Nick and I celebrated 5 wonderful years of marriage together.  It is amazing to look back on all the places we have been, all the things that we have done, and this wonderful life we have created.  I always have felt that we have had a strong relationship, but it seems as though as time goes on...it only grows stronger.  Here was the post that I had on Facebook today:

We certainly did manage to celebrate in style!  Nick planned a wonderful evening for us.  He got the wonderful Mrs. Dinah to watch Archer for the evening.  Archer LOVES Mrs. Dinah and is always more than happy to go spend time with her.  She does have the most magical house in the world that is basically like a fantasy land for children.  So, he happily left with her about 45 minutes before Nick took me to a wonderful dinner at Springs Orleans.  It is a wonderfully delicious Cajun restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs.  We had seen the restaurant many times, but never really had the opportunity to go there.

After dinner we drove around town for a bit and then went and picked Archer up.  It is always so nice to just have a yummy dinner and real conversation with your hubby!  We had a great night and we look forward to the many, many, MANY years ahead!!
